Ryan Rodenbeck — owner

Ryan started in Austin real estate as an investor in 2001. He looked at all investment opportunities — Austin foreclosures, condos, homes for sale. After buying and selling houses for a few years, he felt like he knew more than most investment agents holding themselves out as “experts”and decided to get his real estate license.

He started his first Austin real estate brokerage in 2005, Elite Team Realty. In addition to Austin foreclosures, the team excelled at maximizing other investment opportunities for clients and took on property management as well.  Elite Team Realty completed over a hundred million in real estate deals from January 2005 until September 2007. Their focus was residential investment property and foreclosures.

Ryan turned his talents to estimating renovation costs. His contracting business completed renovations on Austin foreclosures and make-readies for vacant property. After working with dozens of buyers on foreclosure property, Ryan became a listing agent for many national banks, of which he still contracts for today.

In between brokerages, Ryan worked for Castle Hill Investments as a Sales Associate and the Director of REO Business. After leaving Castle Hill Investments, Ryan kept a good relationship with the owner of Castle Hill, Robert Grunnah, and they work together on certain projects today.

In July of 2008, the entrepreneurial bug came calling, so Ryan left Castle Hill to form Spyglass Realty and Investments. This time around, the focus was on residential real estate in the areas that he had a passion for, including Travis Country, 78704, Travis Heights, and downtown Austin. Anything with a modern Austin vibe was attractive. He began hands on training by the most recognized real estate training facilities he could find on how to increase exposure and market properties properly. He also used his experience in renovating properties to help his clients make the proper upgrades that will ensure top dollar.

Angel Rodenbeck

Angel is the wife of Ryan and received her license in 2008. Prior to getting her license, she worked as a CPA for many years and helped Ryan run their first investment related real estate company and brokerage, Elite Team Realty. She began to have an eye for design and became an amateur stager in 2008. In 2009, she took training classes and received her staging certification. She uses these skills to help Ryan’s clients get the most for their home.

In the last several years, Angel has staged over 100 homes and, partly because of this, these homes have sold for more money and nearly twice as fast as the average listing in Austin.  There is no doubt that this unique skill set has greatly contributed to the success of Spyglass Realty over the last few years.  ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Trey Metoyer

Trey got his license in 2005 and began his real estate career as a Transaction Manager and Sales Associate at Elite Team Realty.  Trey got the “trial by fire” training by having to manage several transactions (as many as 44 at one time). His time with Elite gave him a lot of insight on investment property in Austin and he became one of the top selling investment property agents in 2005. Since Spyglass started, Trey has expanded his area of expertise to include Pflugerville, TX, where he lives with his wife and son.

Ryan Campbell

Ryan started his real estate career in 2006 and began selling investment property with One Percent Realty. Ryan Campbell and Ryan Rodenbeck did a few deals together and would often spend time speaking together about the investment real estate market in Austin. It only seemed natural that when Ryan was looking for a new brokerage to make his home that Spyglass Realty would be the one. Ryan focuses on south and east Austin and has a passion for homes that are in Austin’s “hot spots”. Dustin Raye

Dustin Raye began his real estate career in 2006 while working for GMAC Mortgage as an REO Asset Manager.  Throughout his tenure at GMAC Dustin had the opportunity to negotiate in excess of 1,000 closed real estate transactions.  This volume afforded him unique insights into how the real estate markets function, as well as what motivates buyers and sellers.  Having now become a licensed real estate agent, Dustin strives to leverage his uncommon skill-set for the benefit of his clients.

Sunny Tracey

Sunny started with Spyglass Realty in early 2012 and has been an intricate part of the day to day operations.  She has a background in advertising and is a licensed real estate agent.  She helps coordinate the transactions, setting up showings, working with buyers as well as coordinating the listings.  She also helps Angel with the staging of the listings.
