Spyglass Realty has compiled a list of 20 questions designed to be a base for a buyer’s property search.

Advanced Market Assessment

Don’t lose your dream house because you don’t know the current market.

Determining true market value can be extremely important. In a seller’s market, offers sometimes need to be aggressive. At the same time, you want to make sure you are not overpaying for a property. Life happens, and at some point you may need to unload this property. Our goal here is that you can find the dream home property you are looking for WITHOUT overpaying for it. This can be a fine line to walk when dealing with a seller’s market.

Inspections

Accessing reports and making the right requests.

The average agent can assign an inspector, but have no idea what’s involved in quantifying repairs or where to go when concessions or repairs need to be fulfilled.

The system Spyglass Realty uses to evaluate the repairs was great. We had a budget for the amount of repairs based on what a contractor would probably charge and then the team at Spyglass got their vendor to repair the items at less than half the costs. I actually made money from the process.
